If you think all you need to take a great shot is a camera then you are wrong.
Because there are a handful of things every photographer should keep in their camera bag. I’ve learned so many things from my past experiences, and now I always make sure I have all the essential items in my camera bag. So, here are all the things I always carry in my camera bag.
1. Spare Batteries
I always carry 5 spare batteries with me, I rarely run out of power! Keep AA batteries for the flash as well.
2. Extra Memory Cards
Carrying extra memory cards eliminates problems and you can shoot for as long as you like. I always carry 5 spare batteries with me, I rarely run out of power! Because when you try to take a perfect shot and your camera tells you that your memory card is full, which is frustrating.
3. Lens Cleaning Wipes and Microfiber Cloth
Microfiber cloth can help you clean other accessories also. But I will say, use lens cleaning wipes when your camera lens becomes oily and dusty.
4. Flashlight or Head Torch
Mostly I carry a flashlight or torch with me because I don’t want to risk running out of light at the time of night. And I am suggesting the same to you. A flash is excellent for adding additional light and effects to your shot.
Also, a head torch keeps your hands free and will stop you from getting lost.

5. Tripod
A tripod is a must – you should never really go anywhere without it.
6. Extra lenses
Add extra lenses in your camera bag for different types of images and scenes.
The best way to capture the perfect shot is to use an appropriate lens for it. It will also be a backup lens if anything happens to your primary lens.
These are the few things I always carry in my camera bag but you can always add necessary accessories according to your photoshoot and experience.
The whole point of taking pictures is so that you don’t have to explain things with words.
